This year I noticed Costco had Christmas stuff for sale well before Halloween! Remember how it used to show up at Thanksgiving and then it became Halloween and now it's even earlier.
Anyway, I'm just like the stores posting Christmas stuff on Halloween. Here are my mini-mittens for my Advent Calendar which I started back in January. Leslie, inspired me with her advent calendar and based on her suggestion I went for more white and muted colors. I have all but one mitten done...I have to embroider 20, 21, 22, 23 and then knit and embroider 24. After that, a thick string (braided/chainstitch?) will hold it all together.
Time is fleeting - Advent is a month away but you could pull it off with a mitten a day.

Yeah! I love 'em. I can't wait to see them in person. I just got the Sunday ad inserts and laughed when I saw that while we're all chomping away on our Halloween candy, they're already advertising the Christmas M&Ms. YIKES!
